At Cardiologists of Lubbock, we do not just promise state-of-the-art technology and advanced cardiology care, we deliver it. Here are just a few of our services:

Echocardiography/peripheral vascular lab — Proudly, we offer the only in-office accredited lab in town. We can detect poor circulation and blood clots, carotid artery blockage and potential for stroke, heart strength and valve function.

Anticoagulation testing — Specially trained staff are available to provide in-office ProTime^® finger-stick blood tests.

Coronary angiography — An X-ray of the blood vessels of the heart, which gives us a clear picture of the arteries and also shows whether there is any plaque buildup, which can lead to heart attacks in the future.

Nuclear cardiology testing — We offer leading-edge nuclear cameras to assess coronary blood flow and ventricular function.

Event recorder — You will be issued a cardiac event monitor for 30 days in order to record abnormal heart rhythms that occur infrequently.

Lower extremity venous & arterial ultrasound — A device is used on specific areas of your legs to look at the blood flow and internal condition of your leg veins and arteries.

Holter monitor — The size of a hand-held cassette player, is worn for 24 to 48 hours. This test is useful for detecting irregular heartbeats that may not appear during an electrocardiogram at our office.

Stress echocardiogram — This test involves a simultaneous treadmill test and an echocardiogram. It helps us evaluate patients with resting electrocardiogram changes and/or atypical chest pain.

Exercise treadmill stress test — This test measures your heart’s response to physical stress from brisk walking and/or jogging.
